How to Configure Outlook Setting
for Google Account?
Today emails became important
for everyone, Students wants emails for their study purpose, Businessmen want
Emails for Deals & Business and Professionals want emails relating to their
profession, But Suppose what happens if you need to read or access your
important email which contains some important attachment which you required that
time immediately but your internet connection could not be established due to
any reason like no response from ISP or you forgot to recharge or renew your
plans.

These applications should
provide POP/IMAP & SMTP server for email sending or receiving.
What is POP or IMAP?
POP or IMAP provide server for
Receiving mails.
It needs a POP Mail Server, For
GMail, it is pop server is pop.gmail.com
What is SMTP?
SMTP is required for sending a
email with mail application, it works on a server, for GMail SMTP server is
smtp.gmail.com
How to configure GMail setting
on OUTLOOK or other email applications?
Step 1
First of all you need to enable
your POP Mail setting from Gmail, See Screenshot and video to know how to enable POP on your
Gmail.
Step 2
Now you need to add an account
on OUTLOOK or other email application.
To add accounts on OUTLOOK just
open your Microsoft Office Outlook ® 2003.
Now go to the TOOL menu, click
on EMAIL accounts then opt Add a new email account opt POP3 in Server type Then
click Next & fill the following setting Carefully,
- Your Name for example John Smith
- Your email for example yourname@ gmail .com
- Incoming Mail Server (POP3) as pop.gmail.com
- Outgong Mail Server (SMTP) as smtp.gmail.com
- Logon Information username & password of GMail account
- Click on More Setting click Outgoing server & opt My outgoing server requires authentication & chose setting same as incoming mail server
- Now click on Advance Setting & fill the Server Port Number, for gmail POP3 server port number is 995 & SMTP server port is 465, both requires SSL encrypted.
- Click OK & Test your setting, You will got the confirmation by congratulation message, sometime server not respond for test setting so make some adjustment, reset again the port & fill the port no again, your setting is completed.
Now you can access your emails
even you offline on your PC or Phone.

There is Preloaded Mail Application in iPhone 4S,
DeleteTap on Mail on Homescreen, Otherwise go to setting > Mail, Contacts, Calender > Add Account
Enter your Name & Email Address.
Save it !!
Now Tap on Pop & Fill the setting as stated above in the post.

But my google server is "pop.googlemail.com" & "smtp.googlemail.com" instead of gmail.
